On June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court decided to overturn the case Roe v. Wade. They declared that abortion was no longer a constitutional right and gave the authority back to the states to determine where they would stand on the issue. Roe v. Wade was a landmark decision that protected women's rights for roughly fifty years before those protections were taken away.
