Issue 10: Golden
As the seasons change and the heat of summer gives way to the cool, crisp autumn air, I often find myself reflecting on fond memories. Memories as a child and running through my mother’s recently raked pile of leaves, at the city fair, and, of course, memories with friends and family.
The theme for Issue 10 is “Golden.” Just the word alone reminds me of being twelve and reading “The Outsiders” by S. E. Hinton which introduced me to Robert Frost’s “Nothing Gold Can Stay” for the first time. For me, “Golden” invokes feelings of nostalgia a memories. All of the works within these pages have their own take on what “Golden” means to them. What does it mean for you?
