As the seasons change, it ushers in a new issue of Livina Press. When I first had the idea to create my own literary magazine, I thought it could never be a reality. After all, no one really talked about them in college–at least, the teachers didn’t–and it wasn’t until a friend started their own that I even entertained the idea. Now, with Issue 1 turning four months old, and a special edition under Livina Press’s belt, I see that it was always a possibility. I found the community of writers that are caring and supportive and there is nothing better than making friends by bonding over something you love. In this case, it’s writing.
